This directory serves as a local food, farm, and agritourism directory for the “Teton Foodshed” of Teton Valley, Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. For this project, agritourism is broadly defined as any agriculturally based activity that brings visitors to a farm or ranch or an activity in which consumers interact with farmers or ranchers. Types of agritourism activities may include direct-to-consumer sales (e.g., farmers markets, farm stands, community supported agriculture/CSA's); agricultural education (e.g., farm tours and on-farm workshops); hospitality (overnight farm stays); recreation (e.g., horseback riding, hunting); and entertainment (e.g., farm dinners, festivals).
