To strengthen our community food system

Our Vision |
A strong Teton regional food system supporting a vibrant, healthy, and resilient community through connection and collaboration.

How we came to be.This Teton-based group grew out of a series of grassroots meetings that began in May 2016. Early discussions among chefs, farmers, and community members focused on organizing farm-to-table events and creating a local food directory for Teton Valley. Since then, the group has expanded its scope to coordinate local food system efforts on both sides of Teton Pass (Wyoming and Idaho)—what we now refer to as the Teton “foodshed.” Today, we operate under the broader umbrella of a regional food and farm coalition, allowing us to connect our work with food coalitions and policy councils across Idaho, Wyoming, and the United States. As a coalition of businesses, farmers and ranchers, nonprofits, and engaged individuals, we believe in the strength of collaboration to build social and economic resilience across our community.
